Grounded

Dulux have announced Grounded as their Autumn trend 2020. This trend reflects our need to slow down and enjoy the simpler things in life. The palette embraces biscuit neutral and muted accent tones that are inspired by nature. Dulux say that the Grounded palette focuses on making the home cosy and inviting with a minimalist approach. Warm up your home with versatile warm white and putty tones. Dulux have layered together Pancake Mix, Natural White and Hint of Lavender. Neutral doesn’t have to be plain and boring, add an accent colour of your choice to add a touch of personality to your look.

Elemental

Elemental is the second trend this season to focus on decluttering and creating a home environment that is minimalist but evokes a calming and inviting atmosphere. Elemental takes inspiration from the elements and focuses on the essential things in life. Creating that elemental feel within the home has never been easier. Open fires and scented candles are the perfect accessories to compliment warming paired back interiors that are simplistic but instantly create a homely feel. The Elemental colour palette is timeless; pastel and plaster pink neutrals dominate this palette combined with complementary accents of warm and cool greys and charcoal tones. Together these tones create a soft earthy palette that radiates comfort and stability within the home.

Bohemian Lounge

If minimalist home interiors are not for you, then how about Bohemian inspired decor? This trend is inspired by rich 70’s inspired colours and bold patterns with a cool and modern approach. Like the other trends of the season, Bohemian Lounge focuses on blending the outdoors inside the home. The colours within this trend are bold and cheerful and reflect optimism. Combine deep amber, pumpkin and plum tones with cooler mint green and fresh lilac shades to provide contrast and add a contemporary feel. With such a bold colour palette, these tones are sure to add warmth to your home.
