Bright Ideas For Windows in 2018

Posted January 31, 2018 In: /

Ensure there’s never a dull moment in 2018 with the latest trend for intense, manmade colours. Futuristic shades of Ultra Violet, Magenta, Electric Blue and Tech Orange will be a shining light for bright sparks everywhere this year.

Our interiors expert Lorna McAleer explains more about the trend, along with tips on how to introduce this colourful trend into homes with window blinds and curtains.

“We’ve become so used to seeing natural and neutral shades in recent years that, explained Lorna, “that when the trend forecasters at Pantone announced a hi-tech shade of purple as the colour of the year, it was a shocking and exciting moment!

“And it doesn’t stop at Ultra Violet – artificial shades that embrace technology are set to lead the way to a brighter future as, according to Pantone, “another standout trend will include a movement to intense colours rather than pastels”. Luckily, there’s a myriad of sparky shades to choose from – here’s my pick of the best to liven up homes in 2018.”
